About Us

Conflictual people (CPs) are extremely difficult people who often create conflict where none previously existed and, in most instances, escalate the conflict. CPs select targets and become obsessively focused on the targets. CPs are, more often than not, persuasive blamers; nothing is their fault and is always the fault of the target. Some CPs may have Cluster B personality disorders or exhibit traits of those personality disorders. Not every CP has a personality disorder or any mental illness.

ConflictualPeople.com’s goal is to provide support, share experiences, and deliver the tools and resources to the targets of conflictual people and others coping with a high conflict situation. Our focus is to promote fair and clear boundary setting, not to diagnose the root cause of the CP’s behavior.

ConflictualPeople.com is an open internet community. We are member driven and not necessarily professional psychologists, therapists, counselors or attorneys. Our community is made up of individuals with diverse experiences and backgrounds. We are a global community; therefore opinions and attitudes will differ.
